Building bridges
Last year, ICICI Bank pioneered a partnership with several academic institutions with a view to imparting a contemporary flavour to management education and to vocationalise graduate education. Directors of 35 B-Schools and ICICI Bank came together to discuss the issue and it was decided that efforts needed to be made in the field of curriculum development, sharing of E learning programmes and case development . The establishment of a Banking and Financial Services Industry (BFSI) chair was also proposed.

Interventions at B Schools:






Contemporarising curriculum in areas like Wealth Management, Credit, Relationship Sales and Project Finance
Making available more than 200 e-learning programmes through setting up of Learning Centre infrastructure
Faculty development through setting up of BFSI Chair on select campuses, internships and development of case studies
Some Institutes we are working with include SIMS, Pune, Welingkar, Mumbai, NL Dalmia Institute of Management, MDI, Gurgaon, Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies
Interventions at Graduate Colleges and Universities:







Faculty Development Programmes which provide inputs on course content, familiarity with varied teaching methodologies, exposure to live banking environment and a window for interaction with business leaders
Making available more than 200 e-learning programmes through setting up of Learning Centre infrastructure
Simulated lab in select colleges for an exposure to the practical feel of transactions in the banking and insurance sector
